Christopher Remke - Linked founder and Managing Member

Chris' post-professional degree path began in 1984 when he built his credentials as an Architect and Construction Manager / General Contractor.  His experiences include seven years of traditional professional architectural services.  In 1991 Chris joined a development company and focused on the development of design-build services.  The integration of in-house design and construction services offered a streamline alternative approach to private sector owners and developers.  Chris became president of the design-build-development entity in 1997.  The work of the company matured and diversified with the addition of construction management services through agency and risk contracts for projects of greater complexity such as mission-critical infrastructure projects beginning in 2003.  Chris' work in alternative delivery strategies placed him as a subject matter expert for the private sector, government and trade associations such as the American Institute of Architects, the Associated Builders and Contractors and more.   In 2014 Chris accepted an appointment from the Governor of Tennessee to support real-estate capital projects program management.

Building upon the above experiences with services, design, construction, and manufacturing, Chris believes the construction industry is in a must transform condition.  Construction production has declined 20% since 1964 while other industries have improved by more than 200% according to Stanford University.  Chris believes that using existing technologies, manufacturing and vesting contracting methods are necessary to provide solutions for the existing and future construction demand.

Chris believes existing contracting methods can be simplified through leaning, prefabrication, and integration.  The result of traditional contracting is often fragmentation.  This result is not the goal of responsible builders, but it is the reality we manage day to day.  The Linked process adds solution opportunities to capital projects while reducing risk to stakeholders.  Our focus is through the use of manufactured systems, simplify the work through risk reduction to stakeholders and improve results.
